JOIN STRAVA FOR CLUB MONTHLY CYCLING CHALLENGES
Beginning this May, we are excited to introduce monthly riding challenges for all club members! These challenges will be hosted via Strava, where we will track both frequency and total mileage.
Mobile Bay Riders Strava Group Challenge for May:
- Goal: Ride 200 miles
- Timeframe: May 1st–May 31st
As announced during our spring membership drive, membership payments are due by the end of May. After that, the annual fee will increase to $45. Please note that only paid members will remain in the Strava group after May, as this group will serve as the official leaderboard for recognition and awards. Don’t be left out and sign up for the free version of Strava.
Navigate to the new Strava Challenges page to learn more about this exciting new offering from the club.

We Ride Together—Thanks to You
The Mobile Bay Riders Cycling Club exists because of the incredible support of our members. Your timely membership renewal isn’t just appreciated—it’s essential. It helps keep our club financially stable and ensures we can continue offering the coverage and benefits you count on. We’ve already renewed our insurance based on anticipated memberships, so everyone is protected the moment they join or renew.
By continuing your membership, you’re doing more than supporting a club—you’re investing in our cycling community. Your support helps maintain our Bay Area information hub, promote cycling safety and education, advocate for better riding conditions, and create more opportunities to ride together. As a member, you’ll also receive $10,000 in supplemental accident protection when participating in club-sponsored rides, and discounted registration for our 1st Annual Charity Fundraiser Ride on November 8, 2025, at Tanner Williams Community Center, benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Mobile.
Membership rates will increase to $45 starting June 1st, so we encourage you to renew now. This allows us to prepay for everyone’s accident protection insurance and keep planning great events for our cycling family.
Membership is valid through January 1, 2026. From all of us at Mobile Bay Riders—thank you for riding with us and making this community what it is.
